Thunderstorms

Are you a person that stays calm during a thunderstorm or do you get anxious? Earlier today my wife and I went to a town called Warrenton in my state. We went there to get some Casey's pizza and we went to a local park to eat it. While we were eating a thunderstorm started to roll in. We left before it started raining but it was cool to hear the thunder and see the clouds.

Apparently this storm caused some nasty tornadoes to form in St. Louis. I hope my coworkers are okay! We got more storms last night and there were a few tornados that touched down near me but we thankfully didn't get hit by them. It's spring so this is the time of year we get some bad storms.

Thunderstorms can be so intense and I don't like it for any reason because it makes me unnecessarily anxious especially if it is too loud or intense.

We have been getting hit with them again today. The tornado sirens went off twice within the past hour. Thankfully the small rotation that was picked up on the radar missed us both times.

There was a time we saw a sign of a tornado but we were so lucky to get warnings from the local weather service in my community. It's always good to stay informed about weather conditions most especially during spring time.

If thunderstorms are severe, it creates an unstable atmosphere and triggers sun heating, which is a sign. It happens often during spring and that is why it is important to stay updated on weather forecasts and warnings in order to ensure safety.

Looked like we were going to get some thunderstorms today, but they missed us. It got super windy and the clouds were rolling in.
