What's your morning routine tips to boost productivity?

Post: # 958Post Choccodee39 »

My morning routine tips to boosting productivity are: first I command my day in prayer to God. I speak over my morning, noon and evening. I have a word of devotion to carry me through a productive day of completing every task that is to be done on that day. I speak affirmations for throughout the day. I do have a 10-minute meditation session every morning, then I come up with a to-do list before a quick workout. Speaking affirmations, as you said, is also beneficial to keeping me focused and motivated throughout the day.

My morning routine that has worked for me to help me boost productivity is to wake up with intention, I don't allow myself to hit snooze and I don't allow myself to look at my phone (other than to literally look at the time) for at least an hour after I wake up. It gives me time to do my stretches, mentally prepare for the day and shower to help myself wake up. Once I'm done my shower, brushing my teeth, applying makeup etc. I grab a glass of water to hydrate and to help kickstart my metabolism, I've also noticed it helped get rid of grogginess as well.

At this point, if the weather is permitting, I go for a walk, about a half hour walk to help motivate me for the day. When I come back, I make myself a healthy breakfast of either, eggs, nuts and/or fruits. While I'm eating, I tend to fill out my daily planner (if I haven't already filled it out the night before) so I know what to expect for my day. I tend to only give myself 1-3 goals for the day because I've notice that if I give myself too many goals, I get overwhelmed, discouraged and I don't get much done so sometimes less is more. Once I'm done looking over my daily planner and eating, I clean up, stretch and start knocking out things off of my to do list.

This has taken years to find the best morning routine for me to help boost my productivity. One thing to keep in mind is that what works for me may not work for you, it's all trial and error and as long as you're trying to do better, you're still ahead of those who aren't even trying.
