What's the Best Foundation for you skin Tone?

The best foundation for my skin tone is medium to dark tone for simi oily skin type. However my foundation coverage changes in the winter because it dries out and I'm indoors more. I usually out of the sun which tans my skin in the summer that when the darker tone works best. I use matte finish because it works best if I am dealing with oiliness in the warmer months. What's the best foundation for your skin tone and why you choose that one?

My skin tone is light to medium and I use a smooth matte finish it helps with setting my concealer and oily t zone.
