My most favorite must read classic is To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This novel bring out racial injustice and moral ethics along with rape and just plan ignorance if you ask me. The Color Purple is another good read you must dive into. This novel is written by Alice Walker, she deals with the ways of African American by in the days when morales just was not it. This book is about two sisters growing up in a home where when you reach a certain age a girl just isn't safe around any man. Molestation, unwanted pregnancy, racial inequality is magnified in the time and area of the story. These are must reads to me however judge for yourself try them out.
