I make my clothes last longer by rotating how I wear them. I make sure I read the tags for care instructions like how to clean them properly. I use different detergents for gentle fabrics. Some pieces I hang after one wear, which keeps from being washed or dry cleaning often. What are ways you've incorporated to help make your clothes last longer?

Love your tips! I'm really into rotating my wardrobe. Mesh laundry bags and air drying are the secrets of my damage prevention. And yes, air hanging is a total game changer.

It seems I will be stealing your ideas. Now I will use gentle detergents, and steaming instead of ironing it. Next on my agenda are those breathable storage containers.

Making my clothes last as a plus-size women I wash fragile things in mild detergent. Hang them to dry. Rotate my pants and wash jeans after 2x wears. Mix and match your pieces so you're making extra outfits. Hand wash when the fabric calls for it.
