Plus-Size Swimsuit Shopping

I am plus-size and I can tell you how frustrating it can be to look for the best swimsuit that will make me look fabulous. Some times it can take me the whole day looking for what to wear.
I would like to know which plus-sized swimwear brands do you prefer? What are your suggestions in getting the right suit?

Well for me as a bottom heavy plus-size I tend to wear wraps on my bottom half until I'm ready to dive in. My top part I might tend get a little risky depending my atmosphere and the surrounding crowd at the pool or beach. I recommend you wearing what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. Two piece/full body swimsuit if you want coverage wear a wrap. There's also the skirted suits that are flattering. Just make sure it enhances your curvy beautiful body. Then work it like it's nobody's business, and it's not!

I totally understand your frustration! Being a member of the plus-size group has brought me numerous challenges when shopping for swimwear. Some excellent brands have proven to meet our requirements. I am a big fan of the fashion brands Swimsuits For All and Lane Bryant and ASOS Curve.

Swim suit shopping for me like choccodee39 I carry most of my weight in my lower extremities, hips, butt and thighs. Therefore I lean towards wraps that match my swim wear also covers. I prefer one pieces but I have found a couple of two pieces I love. Mind you there are many Plus-size swimming options to choose from.

My wife is a plus size woman and she gets her swimsuits from Woman Within. In fact she gets all her clothes from them and so does my mother in law since she's also plus size.
