Coping for aging parents: Challenges and rewards.

I find that when taking care of your aging parents it's joy and excitement that you still have them. However there's challenges that come with taking care of your aging parents: Your parents now need extra care and not to mention if they have health problems. Their mobility becomes unstable, cognitive issues, buttons, zippers shoes clothing are challenges you face when they nolonger can do these things by themselves. Cooking and eating is a challenge, some face not being able to stand for long periods of time to cook. Some face stiffness in their joints that make dressing themselves harder. The rewards in taking care of your aging pants is you spend more time with them deepening your bond. You feel gratitude and compassion. They feel loved and cared for by their child. You get the reward of know you gave your best in their aging days. What's your take on Coping for aging parents, the challenge and rewards?

Caring for aging parents has its own joys and challenges. One of its many rewards is hearing their life stories and seeing that they feel loved and cared for.
