Balancing work, kids and caring for elderly parents can be somewhat of a challenge however it's doable. With scheduling and prioritizing work schedule, school projects events and deadlines, and parents Doctor and specialty visits along with your families personal appointments and specialty visits. Once all these things are planned and placed on planner calendar you can find that balance and do well. Much loving on each other working as a team. Afterschool program for children until you get them after work this help with homework being done before getting home to parents. Get hired caregiver on board and cleansing services 2x a week, meal preparation for dinner for each week. These suggestions should help you find that balance. I agree that you need to plan accordingly and prioritize when you have to balance work, kids, and aging parents. For me, having distinct boundaries and stating what I need are the best ways to help me keep the balance. With that, I have a clear view of what to do and what not to do.
