Trump’s Proposal to Own Gaza

His proposal to 'own' Gaza has left quite a few people speechless. As Matt Bevan very nicely points out, the origins of this plan are worth exploring.

Essentially, Trump aims to seize the Gaza Strip, clean it and socially uplift the territory. He has the dream of turning it into a place which will create thousands of jobs.

Nevertheless, critics say that the whole plan amounts to uprooting over 2 million Palestinians and raises serious human rights and international legal issues.
