Mindful Eating: Breaking Up with Diet Culture

Do you find yourself in a constant loop of a diet and then feeling guilty about it? Wish you enjoyed a more of your with food? It's possible to stop the diet culture and welcome the best approach of intuitive eating.

First of, you can adopt a mindful eating and with that, you'l be able to:

- Feel more comfortable about body and have better self-esteem
- Change the way you think about eating and your body
- Eat a more healthier diet

So, how do you begin with this concept of mindful eating? Ideally, start with taking your time and observing when and why you feel hungry or feel full. Have your meals when you are famished, and finish your meals when you are full, without having to worry about the ‘guilt’.

Please bear in their mind that mindful eating is a process and not an event. It is more like changing the way you think about food and your body, and making it more positive. So, take a deep breath, let go of diet culture, and begin to enjoy your food.

You know what, I stopped the yo yo diets, that only resulted to me gaining more weight than what I started with. I think mindful eating is best because you still eat foods you like and I am talking about healthy choices. But with that, eat with the mindset I am eating to live and not living to eat. Once you feel your stomach register to your mind that you're full stop! I promise you will began to see you eating habits change for the better. You began to control the food and not the food control you. Try it minding what you eat and how much.
