I think we’ve all been there at one point or another. In a boring job, in a bad mood, we just need something that will cheer us up. And then, we listen to our most favourite songs or find those ones which make us feel so good.

In what way does music affect your mood? Is it used to reduce anxiety, increase energy or to deal with feelings?

I think music for me is uplifting. When I am down I play upbeat music something that will get me moving and singing. If I am missing my love, I listen to love ballet songs that express and say basically how you feel for your love of your life. It really at the end of the day depends on my mood, and that's what I play, what caters to my mood.

I like to listen to music to reduce anxiety but I also use it whenever I'm depressed to cheer me up. I can't listen to sad music when I'm down, it just makes me more depressed. I also like listening to upbeat music when I need to be motivated.

Music is great for every mood as it's uplifting and touches every emotion. If I'm mad, sad or emotional, I can play a song and instantly feel better.
