My experience in dating as a individual was limited being that I was plus-size and most plus-size women aren't taken seriously and handled with what they are worth and me knowing mine limited my dating. I didn't do down low in the close door relationships. However I had those that would openly date me but never included me in his circle of friends and such. That was a no for me. I have always been a Big Girl With Options but I was picky and had high standards. When I met my children's dad that was my first real love and even he couldn't be content with a Big Beautiful Woman with a loving heart. So I let him fly away to grow up. I never dated to have a boy friend when I became a single parent, because I had done that. My goal was and is now about marriage and seeing what the end will be. In my own case as a single parent, I have experienced those problems that you are having with regard to dating. I learned long ago to start putting my own needs and well-being first, and I feel very lucky to have found a person who has accepted me and loves me for who I am.

Dating for me as a single has had its ups and downs. I had to get over disappointments and being totally disrespected. I was told you get what you get, Just be glad I let you be my girl. That is what broke the camels back. I told him you the lucky one, and to dumb to see what you have. I left him then all his friends were in my DM asking to go with them. I said no birds of a feather flock together. The question was how can you say that? My response look at you, you're in my DM! You could have came to me personally.
