Helping step children feel included

Post: # 980Post Choccodee39 »

Helping step children feel included start with your expressing your genuine love for them. Always treat all the children the same if you are blending families. The New parent must allow space for including the child/children in the new partnership. Start slow with discipline from the new parent. Spend time more as a family starting off then gradually share your intimate time alone. Do a lot of fun activities together games, amusement parks, and picnics. How would you help step children feel included?

Expressing genuine love and treating all children equally is key. Respecting boundaries and open communication also help step children feel included. What activities or traditions have helped bond your stepfamily together?

Inclusion, is key always include them in everything all the children are doing. This means equally giving the same attention. Spending on them when spending for all children. Always communicating love and welcoming attitude at all times. Consistency in your loving kindness.
