Overcoming Gym Anxiety as a Plus-Size women

Post: # 223Post Choccodee39 »

I find that having either a personal trainer or gym buddy help plus-size women overcome some of the anxiety of working out in the gym. Either of the two can help with positive encouragement and accountability. Your work out gear also can help, finding that trendy comfortable gym wear and sneakers builds confidence and inclusion. There's something about feeling like you belong and fit in with your purpose for being there. Lastly keep your focus on who and why you are there. What are some ways you think of overcoming gym anxiety as a plus-size women?

I guess with me overcoming the stares of look at that big girl, she really can walk she knows how to exercise and be consistent. The anxiety was when will the focus not be on me. Come get your workout in as I do the same. Who ever said plus-size people don't keep fit or want to be fit while loving the skin their in. Yes we may struggle but we get it in. Since when do we have to prove we have self-care goals and self -love like everyone else. No more gym anxiety I am my on focus. Let yours be you! Not me!
